Diablo 4 will be enhanced for PS5 Pro, Blizzard has revealed.
Diablo series boss Rod Fergusson responded to a fan who asked him about a possible Diablo 4 PS5 Pro update on Twitter, confirming that the game will indeed be “improved” when running on the upcoming mid-upgrade console. Sony cycle cycle.
“I've been asked a lot of questions recently and I'm happy to say that Diablo IV and Vessel of Hatred will indeed be enhanced for PS5 Pro.” Fergusson said. “I'm very proud of our hard-working team for making this happen. More details at a later date.”
Of course, Diablo 4's first DLC will be released in just a few days, on October 8, and along with all the content additions in Vessel of Hatred; including the new Spiritborn class, an entirely new questline, and the new playable region called Nahantu; We're also getting a massive progression revamp.
The main selling point, of course, of the controversially expensive PS5 Pro is its more robust GPU compared to the existing console. The new graphics card's faster memory and processing will help games run smoother and look sharper than on the standard PS5. Sony also says that the PS5 Pro features improved ray tracing for “dynamic reflection and refraction” to improve lighting effects, and that the AI-powered enhancement will further sharpen the image.
There's a growing list of enhanced games confirmed for PS5 Pro, and as we get closer to the console's launch on November 8, we'll likely see more publishers like Blizzard expand that list.
As No Man's Sky prepares to become an enhanced game for PS5 Pro, one developer teases that “as an engine programmer who's been through every PS iteration,” the “console is absolutely brilliant.”.
