Kharif crops benefit from heavy rains

Bank of Baroda said in one of its reports that due to above normal rainfall, not only the Kharif crops benefit, but the upcoming Rabi crops also get the same benefit. Let us tell you that traditionally, farming done in Kharif season in India depends on monsoon rains. Irrigation becomes easier due to rain. Let us tell you that last year Kharif crop was grown on 1,088.25 lakh hectares of land. Whereas this year Kharif crop has been grown on 1,108.57 lakh hectares of land. Similarly, Kharif cultivation is increasing at the rate of 1.9 percent year after year.

There will be control on rising prices of grains

Let us tell you that there are three farming seasons in India. Summer, Kharif and Rabi. Kharif cultivation takes place in June and July, depending on the monsoon rains. Which are harvested in the month of October-November. Whereas Rabi crops are planted in the month of October-November, which are harvested in the month of January. Whereas summer crops are grown and harvested in the period between Rabi and Kharib seasons. Cultivation of pulses, coarse grains, sugarcane and oilseeds is increasing year by year, due to which the rising prices of grains in the market can be controlled in the coming days.
