Yesterday I wasn't feeling very well and to feel better I turned to the Internet to see what joys I could find hidden in some corner. What I ended up finding was quite unexpected, but still very welcome.
You see, I came across a trailer for The Rocky Horror Video Game, an upcoming release from Bit Bot Media and Metal X Entertainment. And I think it looks great, thanks to the retro graphics and 8-bit chiptune renditions of The Rocky Horror Show soundtrack.
The game is described as a “crazy classic platformer” that will allow players to relive Brad and Janet's “bizarre journey like never before.” You can watch the announcement trailer for The Rocky Horror Video Game below.
While the blurb has The Rocky Horror Video Game's release date simply as “coming soon,” according to the trailer, it will arrive this month. So, something for Halloween.
The Rocky Horror video game will be released on PC via Steam (although it doesn't appear to have a Steam page yet), Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
So do you think the first thing players will be asked to do when starting the game is to “Jump left”? I certainly hope so!
