According to Armed Police Force sources, 64 people are missing due to floods and landslides. 45 people have been injured. Maximum 48 people have died in Kathmandu Valley. At least 195 houses and eight bridges were damaged. Security personnel have rescued about 3,100 people.

According to eyewitnesses, they have not seen such a devastating flood in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 40-45 years. The armed police force said the death toll had risen to 122. At least 19 people died when a bus was hit by a landslide in Dhading district near Kathmandu on Saturday. Five people died after a house collapsed in a landslide in Bhaktapur city.

Six football players lost their lives and others were washed away in flood waters in a landslide at a training center run by the 'All India Nepal Association' in Makwanpur. Despite the forecast of rain continuing till Tuesday, there was some relief on Sunday.
