TRAI New Rule Change From 1 October 2024: Telecom Regulatory Authority of India keeps changing the rules from time to time for the convenience of mobile users. TRAI often takes such steps so that the arbitrariness of telecom companies is reduced and customers can get maximum facilities. TRAI is now going to implement new rules across India from October 1. After the new rule, Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL customers will get some new services.
Let us tell you that these rules were earlier to be implemented from September 1 to stop the increasing cases of online fraud and scams. But, the date of its implementation was extended by TRAI by one month so that the telecom companies get some time. Network information will be available in mobile
Let us tell you that different networks are provided by a telecom company at different locations. From October 1 onwards, you will get information in your mobile about which networks are available in your area. TRAI has instructed telecom companies like Jio, Airtel, Vodafone and BSNL to provide detailed information about the network on their websites for the convenience of customers.
A list of numbers will be made
TRAI has instructed telecom companies to take strict steps to prevent fraud and scams. To stop spam calls, TRAI has asked telecom companies to prepare a separate list of such spam calls.
From October 1, only secure URL based or OTP links will be sent in messages for communication. Let us tell you that by September 30, telemarketing calls to telecom companies starting from 140 series will now be transferred to the digital platform.
