Nepal Police deputy spokesperson Bishvo Adhikari said that out of the 66 people who lost their lives due to incessant rains, 34 died in the Kathmandu Valley. 60 people have been injured in the flood. A total of 79 people are missing across the country, out of which 16 people remain unaccounted for in the Kathmandu Valley. More than 3,000 people have also been rescued. The official said that main highways are blocked at 63 places across the country.
