Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday said investment proposals worth Rs 23,181 crore were received at the Regional Industry Conference (RIC), of which 60 per cent of the proposals pertain to the Bundelkhand region. Speaking to reporters, Yadav said, “During the RIC, the state has received investment proposals worth Rs 23,181 crore. These will generate a total of 27,375 employment opportunities.” He said that investment proposals worth Rs 22,241 crore have come from big industries. While the remaining proposals worth Rs 940 crore have come from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

Yadav said that letters of intent have been issued to 96 units for allotment of 240 acres of land which will attract investment of Rs 1,560 crore and provide employment to 5,900 people. Investment proposals worth Rs 3,200 crore were received from Pacific Meta Steel in Niwari district, while Data Centrix proposed an investment of Rs 1,700 crore in Surkhi in Sagar district. Eco Cement proposed investment of Rs 2,000 crore in Panna district while Fly Ola proposed investment of Rs 1,800 crore in Sagar, Umaria, Neemuch and Singrauli districts. Apart from this, Bansal Group proposed investment of Rs 1,350 crore in Jabalpur, Bhopal, Gwalior and Indore while Insolation Green Energy Limited proposed investment of Rs 1,600 crore in Narmadapuram district.
2025 declared 'Year of Industry and Employment'
The Chief Minister also announced the opening of a bank branch in Sidhguwa Industrial Area of Sagar district. He said a mega industrial park would be set up on 1,300 acres in Maswasi village as part of the Delhi-Nagpur Industrial Corridor. Yadav said the ODOP (One District One Product) scheme would be promoted and an office of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation would be set up in Kolkata for investment promotion. Earlier, similar regional industry conferences were also organized in Ujjain, Jabalpur and Gwalior. SAGAR RIC was attended by approximately 3,500 participants including international delegates and diplomats from countries including Mongolia, Thailand, Algeria, Kenya, Canada and Iran. The Chief Minister also presided over the online 'Bhoomi-Pujan' ceremony of industry-related establishments and distributed land allotment orders to investors and prizes to the winners of the Bundelkhand Innovation Challenge (Hackathon). He has declared 2025 as 'Year of Industry and Employment' to promote industrial development of the state. Under this initiative, the biennial 'Invest Madhya Pradesh – Global Investors Summit 2025' will be organized in Bhopal in February next year.
