Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Assassin's Creed Shadows, and Resident Evil developers are all touting the benefits of PS5 Pro, with many still talking about using a performance mode

When the PS5 Pro was revealed, lead system architect Mark Cerny said the controversially expensive console aims to remove the decision between fidelity and performance mode, but now it seems many games will still have two different modes to choose from.

A new PlayStation blog was published on Wednesday that includes a rundown of 14 major studios — some Sony-owned and some third-party — touting the visual and performance benefits of the PS5 Pro. For example, Remedy communications director Thomas Puha said that Alan Wake 2, a game where “atmosphere and environmental storytelling are key,” will be more immersive thanks to the addition of ray tracing.
