Euler launches India's first ADAS-equipped commercial cargo EV, know the price and features – Top News Bulletin


India Competition is going to increase in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment of the electric vehicle market of India. Commercial electric vehicle manufacturer Oyler Motors on Wednesday officially entered the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment. This Delhi-based company on Wednesday launched its two new electric commercial four-wheelers, which have been designed keeping in mind the needs of different customers. The company was currently manufacturing electric three-wheelers.

Sourav Kumar wants to grow the overall electric SCV segment

Oiler Motors on Wednesday launched two different models called Storm, which are designed to meet the needs in and out of the city. Oiler Motors founder and CEO Saurav Kumar said that currently the share of EVs in the total small commercial vehicle (SCV) sales in the country is less than one percent. He said that the company would like to grow the overall electric SCV segment and then achieve a market share equal to its current market share in the electric three-wheeler segment.

Currently the models will be launched in 7 cities like Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai

Saurav Kumar said, “In three-wheelers, we have been able to achieve 20 per cent market share in the cities where we operate. We want to achieve a similar share in the small commercial vehicle segment as well.” He said that Oiler will first introduce the two new models in seven major cities like Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad and later these new models will be introduced in other cities where they are doing business.

What is the price of new oiler vehicles

The company on Wednesday introduced Storm EV T1250 for urban driving, which is priced at Rs 8.99 lakh. It will give a range of 140 km on a single charge. This model is capable of carrying 1,250 kg of luggage. The second model is Storm EV Longrange 200, which is priced at Rs 12.99 lakh. This model of the company is also capable of carrying 1,250 kg of luggage. However, this model will give a range of 200 km on a single full charge.
