New warning for Android users, delete these dangerous apps from your phone immediately – Top News Bulletin

Another new warning has been issued for Android users. Security researchers have detected many apps on Google Play Store that contain the Necro Trojan virus. This is a very dangerous virus that keeps stealing data from your phone and passes it on to hackers. According to the report, this malware not only steals data, but also secretly installs many other malware apps on the phone.

Two such apps have been found on Google Play Store, which have been found to contain the Necro Trojan virus. These apps are modified APKs of Spotify and WhatsApp. Google has taken action and removed these apps from its platform. Apart from this, researchers say that Trojan viruses are also likely to be found in popular gaming apps like Minecraft.

Dangerous virus in these two apps

The Necro Trojan virus was first seen in the PDF making app CamScanner in 2019. This app had more than 100 million downloads on Google Play Store. After this, the problem was fixed by releasing a security patch for the app. Kaspersky researchers have now spotted this dangerous virus in these two apps – Wuta Camera app and Max Browser. Google has removed these apps from the Play Store.

Security researchers say that apart from these two apps, there are many popular apps whose unofficial modded versions are accidentally downloaded by users from third party websites. Kasperkey researchers have spotted this virus in the modded versions of apps like Spotify, WhatsApp, Minecraft, Stumble Guys, Car Parking Multiplayer and Melon Sandbox.

Delete these apps immediately

Security researchers say that if both these apps are installed in your phone, delete them immediately. Also, do not install the modded version of any app in the phone. Most users install modified apps for the free version in their phones instead of the paid version of the apps, due to which they may get into trouble in the future. Apart from this, security researchers have advised users to download any app only from the official Google Play Store.
