All eyes will be on ViratRohit's return in Kanpur Test

New Delhi. The second match of the twoTest series between India and Bangladesh will be played in Kanpur from September 27. Earlier, the Indian team proved itself on every scale at Chepauk and took a 10 lead in the series. R. Ashwin was the top performer while Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill and Ravindra Jadeja also left their mark. At the same time, the bats of senior batsman Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma remained silent.

The pitch in Kanpur will be of black soil. It cannot be said when the mood of this pitch will change. The spinners dominated the red soil pitch in Chepauk. But now the convoy has reached Kanpur's Green Park Stadium. If we look at the previous matches played here, till now the bounce of the ball has been underestimated in most of the test matches played here. But after the rejuvenation of the pitch, fast bowlers also appeared to be dominating, in which dangerous bouncers also become a cause of trouble for the batsmen.

Spin will dominate in the beginning and the batsmen will need to handle the situation as both teams have many great spinners. Although, the Indian middle order took the responsibility of batting in Chepauk, this time the top order batsmen, especially Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, will have to perform according to their experience and name. Most of the current players of Team India have played 11 Test match in Kanpur. Virat and Rohit also have Test centuries here. In such a situation, the expectations of the team and fans have increased from them.

It is expected that the pitch at Green Park will be flatter than the surface in Chennai and the bounce will reduce as the Test progresses. The Chennai red soil pitch offered regular bounce and that is why both teams went in with three fast bowlers and two spinners. Even though the pitch did not offer much turn, there was enough bounce for the spinners. Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin set an example of this and together they took nine wickets in Bangladesh's second innings.

Considering the possibility of Kanpur pitch being slow, both teams can make changes in their strategy and selection. An additional spinner can replace the third fast bowler. Either Kuldeep Yadav or Akshar Patel can find a place in the Indian team.

On one hand, India will be eyeing to win the series by winning this match, while the visiting team will want to draw the series by winning the Kanpur Test at any cost. With the series win, the Rohit Brigade has a chance to create many big records, which include team and individual records.
