Due to 5G network expansion and availability of cheap 5G smartphones, the number of users is also increasing rapidly here.

5G network is expanding

At present, two telecom operators – Airtel and Jio are providing 5G service in India. At the same time, Vodafone Idea (Vi) is also going to start its 5G service soon. Apart from this, government telecom company BSNL has also started testing 5G network. The government telecom company will provide completely Made in India 5G service. The current government has released a fund of Rs 6000 crore for the revival of BSNL. More funds will be released in the coming time.

During his US visit, PM Modi also met Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai. The Google CEO also praised PM Modi's vision. Big technology companies like Google and Apple are assembling their smartphones in India and exporting them to markets around the world. This has been possible due to the government's PLI scheme.
