Minister of State Jayant Chaudhary launched 'Reliance Foundation Skilling Academy'


Mumbai . Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Jayant Chaudhary on Friday launched the 'Reliance Foundation Skilling Academy'. This academy will prepare the youth for the jobs of the future and provide them guidance in skilling, reskilling and advanced skill development. The academy was launched at a conference organized in collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

The platform was launched at a national conference on 'Empowering Youth for Jobs of the Future', organised by Reliance Foundation in collaboration with NSDC. Speaking at the launch, Jayant Chaudhary said, “India's youth today stand at a juncture of immense opportunities and this collaboration between Reliance Foundation and NSDC will prove to be an important milestone in empowering them for the jobs of the future.”

Reliance Foundation CEO Jagannath Kumar said that this academy is a big effort towards helping the youth fulfill their dreams and prepare them for future jobs. The aim of this academy is to empower 6 lakh youth in the next one year. In collaboration with AICTE, its courses will be available in higher education institutions across the country.
