Mumbai: Sharing her excitement about Janmashtami, actress Aayushi Bhave said that her devotion and love for Radha and Krishna has been there since her childhood.
This year Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated on 26th August.
Actress Aayushi who plays the role of Bindu in the supernatural thriller '10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak' opened up about the significance of Janmashtami in her life.
He said, “Janmashtami holds a spiritual significance for me, giving me a beautiful reminder of the divine love and wisdom of Lord Krishna. This special day inspires me to become a better human being as I meditate on Him.”
Aayushi said, “This year, I am planning to celebrate by attending the puja at my local temple. I will completely immerse myself in the festivities. I am also looking forward to preparing traditional dishes like butter and mishri, which add a delicious touch to the celebrations as well as connect me to the rituals and culture associated with this auspicious day.”
Aayushi said, “I loved playing the role of Radha in a school play in my childhood. It was a really fun and enriching experience. One of the teachings of Lord Krishna – 'the importance of selfless action or nishkam karma' – has greatly influenced my life.”
The actress added, “He teaches us to perform our duties without knowing the outcome. It is an approach that has helped me stay focused and motivated in my personal endeavours. This essence of doing good for the sake of good resonates deeply within me and guides me through the challenges of life.”
The show stars Rajveer Singh Abhimanyu, Shambhavi Singh and Krip Suri in lead roles. It airs on Star Bharat.
