New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki India, one of the largest auto companies in India, on Tuesday started exporting its SUV Frontx to Japan. The company sent a consignment of 1,600 vehicles to Japan from Pipavav in Gujarat.

Hisashi Takeuchi, MD & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India, said, “We are delighted to share that our 'MadeinIndia' Frontex SUV will be seen on the roads of Japan. Japan is one of the most advanced and quality conscious markets in the world.”

Exporting vehicles to Japan shows that Maruti Suzuki can manufacture worldclass vehicles that are at par with international standards in terms of performance, technology and safety.

He further said that the Fronx is a symbol of the best engineering and design skills and also shows the potential of Indian auto manufacturing. I am sure that it will get a good response from Japanese customers.
