Pratapgarh. An important meeting of the general body of Pratapgarh District Cricket Association was held on Friday at Hotel Celebration, Zero Miles Chauraha, Pratapgarh. This meeting was chaired by the association’s president Hemant Meena, while the election process was conducted under the direction of election officer Narendra Kumar Jain. Observer Dharmveer Singh Shekhawat from Rajasthan Cricket Association, Jaipur and observer Ram Ratan Gurjar from Sports Council were also present in this meeting.
During the meeting, elections were held for all the posts of the executive of the District Cricket Association, Pratapgarh. Since only one application was received for each post, election officer Narendra Kumar Jain declared all the office bearers elected unopposed. He announced the names of other office bearers including Hemant Meena for the post of president, Pinkesh Kumar Jain for the post of secretary and Sandeep Sharma for the post of treasurer and gave them election certificates.
After the election results were declared, the election officer administered the oath of office and secrecy to all the newly elected office bearers. After this, a meeting of the newly elected executive of the District Cricket Association, Pratapgarh was held, in which the President Hemant Meena gave his first presidential address. In his speech, he said that the cricket players of Pratapgarh district have been neglected for a long time, which will now be ended.
He promised to provide maximum facilities to the players of the district with the cooperation of the state government and Rajasthan Cricket Association. Also, he ensured that every player will be given equal opportunity to move forward without any discrimination.
At the end, Hemant Meena thanked all the newly elected office bearers including Election Officer Narendra Kumar Jain, Observer Dharamveer Singh Shekhawat and Ram Ratan Gurjar.
This meeting is considered to be the beginning of a new era in the District Cricket Association, Pratapgarh, where new steps will be taken for the development of players.
