TV actors share their plans to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi


Mumbai. Actresses Ankita Lokhande, Anchal Sahu, Bharti Singh and Deepika Singh have shared their experiences of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. The four have also revealed their plans to celebrate the festival this year.

Let us tell you that Lord Ganesha is worshiped and adored on Ganesh Chaturthi festival which starts from September 7. This festival is celebrated by installing the idol of Ganesha in homes and pandals.

Ankita is currently seen in 'Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment'. She said, “Ganesh Chaturthi is a grand celebration for my family and every year we welcome Bappa into our home for 10 days of joy and devotion. Along with that, we also bring home Riddhi-Siddhi for a special three-day celebration.”

She added, “This year, I extend a hearty invitation to my entire Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment family to join me in this auspicious event. It is a beautiful occasion to share the blessings and spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi with people who mean a lot to me.”

Anchal, who plays Parineeti in 'Parineeti', said, “Having grown up in Mumbai, I have always been inspired by the unmatched enthusiasm of Ganesh Utsav. This year the festival is filled with gratitude and love as all my family members will once again come together to welcome Bappa.”

Anchal said, “I will decorate the pandal with my family, prepare modaks at home and sing aarti before dinner. I am just like my character Parineeti in Parineeti, who values ​​family and tradition. I can't wait to celebrate this festival at home and on the sets. I hope it brings countless moments of togetherness for everyone.”

Bharti Singh, host of 'Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment' said, “My first friend in Mumbai is Ganpati Bappa. When I first came to Mumbai for a show, I saw huge crowds which looked like a baraat but it was a Ganpati festival. For the past 16 years, I have been bringing Bappa home. First three years in Punjab and since then every year in Mumbai. We are celebrating this year too, I wish Bappa brings happiness, prosperity and infinite blessings in everyone's life.”

Deepika, who plays the role of Mangal in 'Mangal Laxmi', said, “Bringing Bappa home has always been a special tradition for our family. For the last four years, we have decided to celebrate with eco-friendly idols, which honors our commitment to both tradition and the environment. This year, my house is undergoing renovation work.”

She added, “Although I will welcome Bappa home, I will not invite people like every year. However, this year the celebrations will definitely be bigger as I will be sharing the occasion with the team of Mangal Laxmi. All the love we are receiving for the show is all thanks to Bappa.
