Country The total brand valuation of the top 75 most valuable companies in the world has increased by 19 percent to $450.5 billion. This has been revealed in a report by Kantar Brandz, a marketing data and analytics company. The report says that India's leading IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has topped the list for the third consecutive year. After this, HDFC Bank is at the second position, Airtel at the third, Infosys at the fourth and SBI at the fifth position.
TCS' brand value was $49.7 billion
According to the report, the brand value of Tata Group company TCS was $49.7 billion. The current brand value of TCS is 16 percent higher than last year. The main reason for the increase in the company's brand value is investment in innovation and digital transformation, especially in the AI sector. According to the Kantar Brandz report, during the last year, 54 brands have increased their brand value on an annual basis. Along with this, brands of all business sectors have accelerated the growth.
Dominance of these 2 companies in the financial sector
The list is dominated by brands related to financial services. A total of 17 brands contributed 28 percent to the overall brand value ranking. HFDC Bank is in second place with a valuation of $38.3 billion while the public sector State Bank of India is in fifth place with a valuation of $18 billion.
Tremendous increase in the brand value of Zomato
ICICI Bank is sixth on the list with a valuation of $15.6 billion and LIC is 10th with a valuation of $11.5 billion. Online food ordering app Zomato has seen the fastest growth. Zomato's brand value has doubled to $3.5 billion and it is ranked 31st.
