Mumbai. Indo-Canadian Punjabi singer AP Dhillon will soon be seen in a new project with Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayra Star. He has joined hands with Ayra Star for 'The Brownprint'.
Dhillon shared a post announcing the release date. He wrote- “A new chapter for me and the beginning of a new era for all of us. 'The Brownprint' will release on August 30.”
Apart from this, he has also shared a teaser video, which tells the story of the strength and pride of the Punjabi community. He has also shared a photo with Ayra star on Instagram.
Dhillon has blended Punjabi and Afrobeats for this track titled “Bora Bora”. This track will showcase different genres, communities and cultures.
Actually, Indian-Canadian Punjabi singer AP Dhillon released his first song 'Faraar' and 'Top Boy' in the year 2019. Gurinder Gill and Shinda Kahlon were seen with him in this. This track was liked all over the world.
After this, his song “Deadly” came, which also got a lot of love from the audience and reached the 11th position in the UK Asian Chart list. Apart from this, it was among the top five in the UK Punjabi Chart. Dhillon appeared in “Droptop”, “Majhail” and “Excuse”. His Excuse song got a place at number 3 in UK Asian, while this song topped the list of UK Punjabi Chart.
In the year 2021, AP Dhillon and his team came to India and performed a live concert called “Over the Top – The Takeover Tour” which was held in 6 major cities of India. He was the first Punjabi singer to perform at the 2023 Juno Awards in Edmonton, Canada.
