Xiaomi has taken a big leap and left behind the American giant brand Apple. In the month of August, the Chinese brand has become the second largest smartphone selling brand in the world. Apple has now come to number three in this matter. At the same time, South Korean company Samsung is still the world's largest company in this matter.
Apple is behind again
According to the latest report of Counterpoint's Smartphone 360 Monthly Tracker, Xiaomi has once again overtaken Apple. Earlier, the Chinese brand had overtaken Apple in 2021. In the last three years, there has been a race for first, second and third place between Samsung, Apple and Xiaomi.
Xiaomi Vs Apple Vs Samsung
The graph shared by the research firm clearly shows that the Chinese brand has been growing steadily for some time and finally last month the company overtook Apple. Apple recently launched the iPhone 16 series. The company launches only three to four phones in a year, while brands like Samsung and Xiaomi launch dozens of phones throughout the year.
Xiaomi shows growth
According to the latest report of Counterpoint, Chinese brand Xiaomi is the highest growing company of this year 2024. Even though the company's position in India is shaky, Xiaomi phones are being liked in the global market. On the other hand, users are liking Apple's new iPhone 16 series less. There has been a tremendous decline in the pre-orders of this series compared to iPhone 15.
Samsung has been the global market leader for some time now. Except for the last quarter of 2023, the South Korean brand's market share has increased. At the same time, Xiaomi has been growing continuously since the beginning of 2023.
