Beijing: Till now you must have seen and read such news that America and its allies impose sanctions on a country. But, the news that has come out now is surprising. China took a big step on Wednesday and announced sanctions on American companies selling weapons to the self-governing island Taiwan. This move of China is being considered a big blow for American arms companies. At present, no reaction has come from America in this regard.
Which companies were banned?
In fact, China claims Taiwan as its part and threatens to capture it by using force if necessary. China's state media has given information about the announcement of sanctions quoting the Foreign Ministry, but did not say which companies have been banned.

Taiwan is waiting for the supply of F-16 fighter jets, Abrams tanks and many missiles from the US. There are constant threats from China to attack Taiwan. However, Taiwan's population of 2.3 million citizens is in favor of its current status of de facto independence.
