Mumbai. Veteran star and fashion icon Zeenat Aman is mostly seen in casual dresses. She said that most of the designer outfits do not seem wearable to her.
Zeenat shared a picture on Instagram. In this, she is seen wearing a 3D dress.
She wrote in the post, “I have been blessed with many talented people in my life. India's first Academy Award winner, the extremely talented Bhanu Athaiya has designed my dresses for more than 15 films including Satyam Shivam Sundaram.”
He said Athaiya was very hardworking and meticulous. He had made a mannequin according to her measurements.
Zeenat said, “She used to measure my clothes on that mannequin and try out every design of hers on it. I had to go to her only occasionally.”
Zeenat said that no other designer could make such better clothes for her which would be so comfortable.
She further added, “I am always happy with my personality as a high fashion woman. People who know me know that I am a very casual dresser. I don't consider most designer clothes worth wearing.”
The actress said, “My friends from Dubai and London would often gift me haute couture, and then regret that the clothes would be gathering dust in my wardrobe.”
