Actors Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde have completed shooting for their upcoming film Deva, the makers announced on Wednesday.
Billed as a powerful action thriller, the film is directed by renowned Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrews, known for his productions Udayananu Tharam and Notebook.
“And that's it! Get ready to witness some electrifying action from Deva soon,” the studio posted along with a photo from the set of the film, which shows Kapoor and Hegde cutting a cake.
In a statement, the makers said the action-packed spectacle film concluded with a power-packed musical sequence, choreographed by Bosco Martis and shot over four days in Mumbai.
Hegde, known for films like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Most Eligible Bachelor and Beast, also posted about the completion of the film on her Instagram.
“The sweetest. Thank you @roykapurfilms #DEVA #itsawrap,” the 33-year-old actor wrote alongside the note.
In the upcoming film, Hegde plays a determined journalist, while Kapoor takes on the role of a rogue police officer embroiled in a high-profile case that reveals a tangled web of deceit and betrayal.
The film is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2025.
