10 teams search for kidnappers of fish trader

Charming:Ten teams are currently searching for the individuals who kidnapped fish trader Sujay Kalasi from Odisha on Wednesday from near the Central Jail in Rajamahendravaram. According to Rajamahendravaram's One Town Police, Sujay Kalasi, who is involved in fish trade, used to buy fish from fish farmers and fish farmers in areas such as Tuni, Annavaram, Konaseema, Uppalagupatam and Annavaram. However, Kalasi allegedly failed to pay dues worth Rs 7 crore to the farmers. When the farmers lodged complaints against him, he was granted bail and released from jail.

On Wednesday, Sujay was released on bail after being remanded in custody in a case filed by fish farmers from Tuni. After his release, he was kidnapped, allegedly by fish farmers from Konaseema, who are victims of his actions. Mandan Singh lodged a complaint with the One Town police. In response, East Godavari Superintendent of Police D. Narasimha Kishore formed 10 teams, each comprising four officials, to trace the kidnappers. The One Town police have registered a case.

Meanwhile, some farmers in Konaseema area, unable to bear Sanjay's deception, are believed to have taken matters into their own hands and kidnapped him. Search teams have reportedly identified the kidnappers and are trying to arrest them.
