Plaud's NotePin wearable device with artificial intelligence is launched at this price

Plaud’s NotePin artificial intelligence (AI) wearable device, which can record everything being said around it, is now available for pre-order. The company rose to fame on short-video platform TikTok with its AI-powered recording app. It has now introduced a wearable device that can be worn on a wrist strap, as a necklace, tie pin, or in a variety of other ways. The basic AI features are available for free, however, users can also pay an annual subscription for additional premium features.

Plaud NotePin Price and Subscription Plan

The Plaud NotePin is priced at $169 (roughly Rs. 14,170) and is currently available for pre-order in the US. The basic AI features are available for free, but an additional payment of $79 (roughly Rs. 6,620) will unlock advanced features like summary templates and speaker tagging, according to the company.

The wearable device is available in Cosmic Grey, Lunar Silver and Sunset Purple. Customers who pre-order the device will also receive an accessory kit, unlimited cloud storage and a free subscription to Advanced AI.

Plaud NotePin Features

The AI-powered NotePin measures 51 x 21 x 11 mm and weighs 25 g, according to the company’s website. It is equipped with 64 GB of storage and is powered by a 270 mAh battery. The device also features two MEMS microphones. The NotePin also ships with a magnetic pin, a clip, a lanyard, a wristband, a charging dock, and a USB Type-C charging cable.

After recording conversations, NotePin's AI transcribes the data and these can be saved in over 20 professional templates and various other custom template formats. The AI-powered software also generates a summary of the conversation to provide the main points of the conversation.

Plaud says that despite storing the device in the cloud, users will have full control over their data as the files are end-to-end encrypted. The company also claims that the device can record audio for 20 hours continuously on a single charge and can remain in standby mode for 40 days.
